Q: Whats the best investment you have ever made?
A: The best investment I’ve ever made was into my mental health. It could be a host of different things like therapy, being vulnerable with friends and family, and also something simple like buying a book.
Q: What are some habits that you are proud to say you have broken?
A: Responding to every situation emotionally and actually giving some thought to my response and what the consequences to my actions will be or not responding at all.
Q: What do you do about your energy when you are feeling low? How do you get back on track?
A: When I’m feeling low I disconnect from everything completely, Bill Gates calls it “brain breaks”. I make sure there’s a way that I can get some peaceful rest for as long as I need to.
Q: How do you practice self-love/self-care/self-therapy?
A: I pray and I affirm myself. I give myself grace and I am realistic with myself.
